Recordable Injury Rate (TRIR) adding recorded Restricted Work Duty and Medical Treatment to Lost Time
Injuries, far beyond cement sector practices.
Despite all the efforts, four fatalities occurred at Group premises. Giving utmost importance to such events,
each fatality is discussed at the Group Management Committee, during dedicated sessions chaired by the
CEO, and then also presented to the Board of Directors.
In one subsidiary, minor administrative non-compliances to locally enforced regulatory schemes had raised
penalties for 474 k€.
As usual every year, the Group endorsed and celebrated the World Day for Safety and Health at work to
promote the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases globally. This initiative, promoted by the
International Labour Organization, aimed at raising public awareness on the benefits of a safe, healthy and
decent working environment.
