five Tudor Revival buildings in the survey area which demonstrates<br />

<strong>Juneau</strong>'s vernacular:interpretation <strong>of</strong>.•. national styles,because <strong>of</strong> its<br />

associationwit.h Territorial.government figure, George Folta, <strong>and</strong><br />

because it demonstrates patterns <strong>of</strong> community development in <strong>Juneau</strong>,<br />

Alaska. The home was built for the Folta family. In the 1930's, he<br />

was court reporter to the u.s. District JUdge.<br />
