five Tudor Revival buildings in the survey area which demonstrates
Juneau's vernacular:interpretation of.•. national styles,because of its
associationwit.h Territorial.government figure, George Folta, and
because it demonstrates patterns of community development in Juneau,
Alaska. The home was built for the Folta family. In the 1930's, he
was court reporter to the u.s. District JUdge.
