the love for God. Love assumes “concordance”, the theologians<br />
and jurists said, but not at least a possible concordance between<br />
the creature and Creator. For the Sufis, to be united with God,<br />
means to become one with Him, not by the substance or essence,<br />
but through love. According to them, love is the essence of God,<br />
and that man can join the Lord through the path of suffering and<br />
