Safety Management:<br />
The mission is to promote a safe and healthy work environment for all employees and the campus<br />
community. The Safety Coordinator works to ensure the safety of the campus community and<br />
promotes safety and raises safety awareness. Oversees annual inspections, coordinates with BRIM,<br />
inventories fire extinguishers, and provides safety training to the facilities department. The Safety<br />
Coordinator works closely with the <strong>State</strong> Fire Marshal.<br />

MS4 (Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems) Phase II Program:<br />
Storm Water Management Program (SWMP) designed to reduce the discharge of pollutants to the<br />
“maximum extent practicable” (MEP); to protect water quality; and satisfy the appropriate water<br />
quality requirements of the Clean Water Act. This requires the development and implementation of<br />
Best Management Practices (BMP’s) and the achievement of measureable goals to satisfy each of<br />
the six minimum control measures. The six MS4 program elements, termed “minimum control<br />
measures”, are:<br />

Public Participation/Involvement<br />
Illicit Discharge Detection & Elimination<br />
Construction Site Runoff Control<br />
Post-Construction Runoff Control<br />
Pollution Prevention/ Good Housekeeping<br />

Service Requests: Work Orders & Key Requests:<br />
All requests for Facilities Department services should be submitted through the electronic<br />
Work Order/ Key Request System under myCampus. The system allows you to fill out the<br />
form.<br />
Printing and Duplicating:<br />
The Copy Center provides printing, copying, and finishing services for <strong>Fairmont</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>University</strong><br />
and Pierpont Community & Technical College, as well as personal copying for students, faculty,<br />
staff, and off-campus customers. Copyrighted materials may be duplicated only in accordance with<br />
the Copyright Law of the United <strong>State</strong>s.<br />
