The NRPG-initiated environmental page has not been forthcoming<br />
although a <strong>Shire</strong> instigated ‘Community Matters’ page has with<br />
little or no environmental content. An environmental page could<br />
engage the community on environmental matters, requirements<br />
for development proposals, water conservation, weed control and<br />
climate change etc.<br />

Section 11.8 on page 84, Strongly support increased growth <strong>of</strong><br />
the Environmental Services division through increasing <strong>of</strong>ficer<br />

Section 11.9 on page 85, Weeds and their relationship to fire<br />
regimes needs urgent attention. Enforceable weed policies and<br />
weed control post fire/s would assist in supporting the work <strong>of</strong><br />
volunteer groups and the Bush Regeneration Team.<br />
