MD/Dual Degree Programs<br />
<strong>St</strong>udents pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at <strong>St</strong>. George’s<br />
<strong>University</strong> may simultaneously earn other degrees.<br />
Bachelor of Science/MD<br />
Those who enter the <strong>University</strong> in the early stages of the premedical<br />
program (the first or second year of the premedical program) may<br />
earn a bachelor’s degree upon acceptance into and completion of the<br />
first year of the four-year medical program if the qualifications for a<br />
bachelor’s degree are met.<br />
MD/Master of Public Health and<br />
MD/Master of Science<br />
<strong>St</strong>udents who wish to enhance their educational experience and<br />
broaden their career opportunities may simultaneously earn a<br />
graduate degree in public health, anatomy, microbiology and their<br />
related concentrations, or scientific research in specific disciplines.<br />
These dual graduate degrees require students to study for at least one<br />
extra term in Grenada.<br />
MD/Master of Business Administration<br />
<strong>St</strong>udents who wish to focus on managing community wellness and<br />
broaden their focus of study may simultaneously earn a Master of<br />
Business Administration degree in Multi-Sector Health Management.<br />
This dual degree option requires an additional semester of study to<br />
complete the basic medical sciences curriculum.<br />
Independent Graduate<br />
Degree Programs<br />
Through its Graduate <strong>St</strong>udies Program, the School of Medicine offers<br />
master’s degree programs in public health, microbiology, bioethics,<br />
tropical medicine, physiology and neuroscience, and anatomy. The<br />
School also offers PhD programs in microbiology, physiology and<br />
neuroscience, and anatomy.<br />
