in the period 1 April 2006 to 31
December 2006. Aspects of the
adoption process outside of the
Council’s control include delays in
the Court process to approve
adoptions, arranging adoptions for
children with complex needs and
recent changes in the Adoption Act.
Three additional children are likely to
be adopted by the end of March
2007.
