8. PROPERTY DATA MANAGEMENT AND CONSULTATION 8.1 The Council is aware of the importance of developing an effective Property Database and Appendix J sets out the steps being taken to develop the Property Database, which has been underway since February 2004. 8.2 The Council also recognises the importance of engaging fully in consultation with its partners, customers and members of the public in preparing asset strategies and policies and individual proposals for property. Appendix K sets out how the Council has been consulting on property matters during the last year as well as detailing future consultation. 19
