Established 1999. Microbrewery & brewpub in the historic Cedarburg Mill<br />
located on the SE corner of Columbia & Portl<strong>and</strong> Roads in the heart of<br />
Cedarburg, Wisconsin. Featuring 16 taps with several of our own beers <strong>and</strong><br />
Blonde Root Beer along with choice micro’s <strong>and</strong> imports from all over the<br />
US <strong>and</strong> the World. Flanked by waterfalls <strong>and</strong> flowing water, our beer garden<br />
provides a picturesque setting amidst the many local shops. Nestled between<br />
the beautiful banks of Cedar Creek <strong>and</strong> the mill’s spillway, you’ll enjoy the<br />
water flowing over the historic mill dam <strong>and</strong> through the original vertical-shaft<br />
turbine. Our pub <strong>and</strong> brewery have been carefully constructed on the building’s<br />
machinery level, preserving the historic architecture of the 1855 mill.<br />

Established May 1995. The South Shore Brewery became this states’ seventh<br />
Microbrewery <strong>and</strong> first in northern Wisconsin. Many changes have occurred since<br />
it’s inception. Through our evolution, <strong>and</strong> since January 2009, we consider this an<br />
ultimate achievement, that all the beer we produce, uses base malt we grow right<br />
here in our backyard. We are a founding member of the Midwest Hops & Barley<br />
Co-operative, which will keep us a leader in acquiring a year round supply of hops<br />
grown <strong>and</strong> overseen by us. We pride ourselves with our membership <strong>and</strong> all the<br />
efforts <strong>and</strong> our contributions to the Wisconsin Brewers <strong>Guild</strong>.<br />
NUT BROWN ALE: 5.0-5.5 % BY VOL 17.4 BU’s. Don’t be intimidated by the rich walnut<br />
color. This beer is really not heavy at all. It is very smooth with no bitterness, <strong>and</strong> has<br />
a real warming, nut-like flavor <strong>and</strong> aroma. Brewed to match a traditional English mild,<br />
it has carbonation levels that are more American. Our “flagship” brew, it’s a very<br />
social drink <strong>and</strong> goes great with all types of food.<br />
INLAND SEA PILSENER: 5.5-5.8 % BY VOL. 14.4 BU’s. This golden beer is refreshing,<br />
boldly crisp, full bodied, yet not overwhelmingly bitter. Locally harvested honey adds<br />
that delicate touch of sweetness that balances very nicely with newly developed<br />
aroma hops. This product is fermented with a classic Pilsner style yeast <strong>and</strong> allowed<br />
to lager several weeks before it is packaged.<br />
NORTHERN LIGHTS CREAM ALE: “ALE BREWED WITH HERBS” 4.3 % ALC. VOL.<br />
10.8 BU’s. The South Shore Brewery continues it’s dedication to innovative <strong>and</strong><br />
progressive beer styles. As a cream ale it combines the features of a lager ( crisp <strong>and</strong><br />
smooth) with the best of an ale (fruity <strong>and</strong> complex) into one beer. We’ve also added<br />
5 % oatmeal <strong>and</strong> 16% white wheat for a round, smooth flavor <strong>and</strong> mouthfeel. There<br />
is a very slight hop presence. Additionally, we’ve introduced a blend of herbs into the<br />
finished product which enlivens your senses with a unique refreshing taste.<br />
AMERICAN PALE ALE: 6.30% ALC BY VOL. 55 BU’s. There are two things that<br />
distinguishes this pale ale from our st<strong>and</strong>ard pale. First is the color. We’ve made<br />
some minor deletions in some dark caramel malt <strong>and</strong> the most obvious is that we<br />
poured the hops to it. Much like our India Pale Ale as bitterness goes, however this<br />
beer features American bittering <strong>and</strong> aroma hops. Not for the faint of heart. A bold<br />
