The Brew Pub opened in 1996 as The Cedar Brewing Company <strong>and</strong> became<br />
Cedar Rapids, IA’s first micro brewery since prohibition.<br />
Hop Pun: 8.0% ABV, FG: 2.2 P, IBU 85 ish. IPA. Bohemian Pilsner, Pale Ale, Wheat Malts:<br />
Zythos, Simcoe, Meridian hops. Fairly Bitter <strong>and</strong> dry with floral, tropical fruit, melon,<br />
<strong>and</strong> pine flavors/aromas.<br />
Helios: 8.3% ABV, OG: 17.5 P, FG: 2.5 P, IBU: 31. Saison. Pilsner Wheat, C-40 malts, 8%<br />
cane sugar, with German Magnum hops to bitter <strong>and</strong> finish. Dry <strong>and</strong> spicy. We used<br />
an American Farmhouse blend of yeast from White Labs which gives this Saison its<br />
slightly funky overtones.<br />
Murphy Brown Porter: 5.2% ABV, OG: 15 P, FG: 5.5 P, IBU: 28. Brown Porter. Maris<br />
Otter, Brown, Chocolate malts. Willamette <strong>and</strong> Vanguard hops. English Ale yeast.<br />
Flavors of chocolate, toffee, coffee, <strong>and</strong> roasted malt.<br />
Flying Aces Pale Ale: 6.1% ABV, OG: 14.2 P, FG: 3 P, IBU: 73. American Pale Ale. Pale<br />
Ale, Carapils, C-40, malts. Warrior <strong>and</strong> Centennial Type hops. Clean <strong>and</strong> crisp with<br />
loads of floral <strong>and</strong> tropical fruit aromas <strong>and</strong> flavors<br />

“Since establishing in 1996, Thirsty Pagan Brewing is the only micro brewery<br />
in Superior, WI. We are located in the Old Russel Creamery, on the corner of<br />
Broadway <strong>and</strong> Ogden, near downtown Superior. Our 2BBl system provides our<br />
customers with 9 different microbrew varieties on tap: four craft house ales,<br />
<strong>and</strong> four seasonals, including pours off of our famous beer engine. We are<br />
open at 3 P.M. every day. Our gourmet pizza is available from 3-10 all week<br />
long, with specials changing every two weeks. While having a pint of craft<br />

Burntwood Black: Brewed with seven varieties of malt <strong>and</strong> barley, this black ale<br />
has roasted coffee character <strong>and</strong> a sweet malty finish. 4.6% ABV<br />
Vélo Saison: A favorite summer beer. Tangy yeast profile <strong>and</strong> a floral hop aroma<br />
meet in this dry finishing easy drinking summer beer. 5.8% ABV<br />
Opa Bier: We wanted to bring the smooth, silky mouthfeel of an Oatmeal Stout to a Pale Ale.<br />
It’s a well balanced ale that has a nutty characteristic from the oats. 5.2% ABV<br />

Tripel Play: Belgian style tripel sour aged in our merlot barrel with raspberries.<br />
Complex, fruity, mildly sour <strong>and</strong> acidic. 8% ABV<br />
Coffee Vanilla Stout: We took a Russian Imperial Stout <strong>and</strong> put a Pagan twist<br />
on it. First we added in some milk sugar to add some creaminess, we then added in<br />
coffee <strong>and</strong> vanilla beans for added depth. 8.5%ABV.<br />

Dark Lord-2009<br />
Cognac Barrel Aged Dark Lord <strong>2012</strong><br />
Jinxproof: 35 IBU 5.1%ABV This refreshing continental-style pils has a light body<br />
combined with a pronounced noble hop aroma <strong>and</strong> a crisp dry finish. This is the<br />
perfect beer for easy flavorful drinking. Brewed in collaboration with our friends at<br />
Jinx Proof tattoo in Washington D.C.<br />
Molok-old: - 10% ABV Our seasonal milk stout aged in bourbon barrels for a year<br />
<strong>and</strong> a half. Chocolate, coconut, <strong>and</strong> vanilla liquid awesomeness.<br />
Bourbon Ice Grille: - 18 IBU 10% ABV Ever have another inmate givin’ you that<br />
look (Ice Grille) in the mess hall like he’ll shank you over that piece of toast? This<br />
Belgian-style Dubble, light amber ale with hints of raisins <strong>and</strong> dried plums was aged<br />
for over a year in bourbon barrels.<br />
Ronaldo: - 9% abv An incredibly sexy <strong>and</strong> talented beer. This prodigy ale is our<br />
Moloko milk stout aged in a Portuguese port barrel for one year with tart <strong>and</strong> sweet<br />
cherries. Do yourself a favor.<br />
A.K.: - 68 IBU 6.66% ABV A bold yet balanced American pale ale with slight caramel<br />
sweetness <strong>and</strong> aggressive citrus hoppiness. This is our flagship beer.<br />
Gorch Fock: - 25 IBU 5% ABV A light golden colored Franconian style Helles Lager.<br />
With a slightly sweet malt body, a noble hop profile <strong>and</strong> a crisp finish, this beer is as<br />
traditional as we’ll ever get.<br />
Sez Sez Sez: - 9%abv A collaborative saison brewed with Meno from DeMolen.<br />

Tighthead Brewing Company was founded by Owner/Brewer Bruce Dir, a long<br />
time homebrewer <strong>and</strong> Siebel Institute graduate, <strong>and</strong> began production in the<br />
fall of 2011. The production brewery <strong>and</strong> tap room are located adjacent to the<br />
Metra train station in Mundelein, Illinois <strong>and</strong> produce quality ales <strong>and</strong> lagers<br />
for all seasons. Our Comfortably Blonde Ale, Scarlet > Fire Red Ale <strong>and</strong> Irie<br />
IPA are currently being distributed throughout Lake County <strong>and</strong> the northern<br />
Chicago area in draught form only. Our Tap room typically features eight beers<br />
on tap, many of which are seasonal beers <strong>and</strong> are only available in the tap<br />
room by the pint or growler. Examples of our loyal followers favorite seasonal<br />
beers brewed so far are the Boxcar Porter, Hat Trick Tripel <strong>and</strong> Go-Go- Witbier,<br />
among others. Our approach is two-fold, to brew quality beer is a must, but we<br />
also want to turn as many people on to as many craft beer styles as we can.<br />
Comfortably Blonde (American Blonde Ale): ABV - 4.8% , IBU - 19.8, SRM<br />
– 3.3. Easy drinking American Blonde Ale. Brewed with Crystal hops <strong>and</strong> American Ale<br />
yeast this is a perfect gateway beer for the mainstream American Lager beer drinker.<br />
Scarlet > Fire (Irish Red Ale): ABV – 5.6% , IBU - 30.2, SRM - 15.1. Irish/American<br />
style Red Ale. The name is reference to the often played combination of Grateful<br />
Dead song’s Scarlet Begonias <strong>and</strong> Fire on the Mountain. This beer features a great<br />
balance of malt sweetness from caramel malt <strong>and</strong> subtle toasty notes from roasted<br />
barley. Brewed with American Ale yeast, <strong>and</strong> East Kent Golding hops, it pays tribute to<br />
its heritage as an Irish Red Ale.<br />
IRIE IPA (India Pale Ale): ABV - 7.8% , IBU - 134.1, SRM -5.4. A malty <strong>and</strong> complex<br />
IPA which support the generous amount of Chinook, Centennial <strong>and</strong> Columbus hops.<br />
American Ale yeast ferments this beer cleanly allowing the dank hop qualities to<br />
shine though… IRIE Mon!<br />
Boxcar Porter (Robust Porter):BV - 6.9% , IBU - 43.1, SRM - 35.4. A Robust<br />
Porter with hints of roast coffee <strong>and</strong> mild chocolate. English Maris Otter pale malt,<br />
black patent, dark <strong>and</strong> light chocolate malt <strong>and</strong> traditional English East Kent Golding<br />
hops makes this a classic example of the style. Cheers!<br />
Hat Trick Tripel (Belgian Tripel): ABV - 8.9% , IBU - 34.4, SRM - 3.7. Belgian<br />
style Tripel ale brewed with tradition <strong>and</strong> respect for the Trappist monks who have<br />
brewed this beer for centuries. European pilsner malt, aromatics, Sterling <strong>and</strong> Czech<br />
Saaz hops make this effervescent golden ale worthy of at least a try!<br />
Tube (English Pale Ale): ABV – 4.2% , IBU - 31.5, SRM – 10.2. A short train ride<br />
on the Underground from Central London to Chiswick is Fuller’s Brewery. Fuller’s<br />
Chiswick Bitter is the inspiration for this English style session ale. Made with Maris<br />
Otter, Special Roast malt, East Kent Golding hops <strong>and</strong> fermented with English Ale<br />
yeast… just be sure to “Mind the Gap”!<br />
English Dark Mild (English Brown Ale): ABV – 3.4% , IBU - 18.7, SRM - 18.8.<br />
This malty English style brown ale is brewed with Maris Otter, chocolate <strong>and</strong> caramel<br />
malts along with East Kent Golding hops to create a smooth, refreshing session beer.<br />
Classic English ESB yeast is used highlighting the rich malty qualities of this beer.<br />
Old Kaya Dog (Barleywine): ABV – 10.3% , IBU - 92.1, SRM – 8.7. An American<br />
Barleywine with hints of light fruit <strong>and</strong> alcohol warmth. Brewed with American Hops<br />
<strong>and</strong> Ale yeast, this is a beer that is not to be taken lightly! We hope you enjoy Old<br />
Kaya Dog as much as we do!<br />
Barrel-Aged Old Kaya Dog (Barleywine): ABV – 10.3% , IBU - 92.1, SRM – 8.7.<br />
An American Barleywine aged in Woodford Reserve Bourbon barrels for 4 months.<br />
