Repeating the above calculations yields a compressor discharge temperature
of 383°F. At 200 psia & 380°F the water will be at the Liquid-Vapor
Line (this can be confirmed on the Mollier Chart).
Too much liquid water injected into the compressor will result in
changing the airfoil configuration as water accumulates leading to
compressor surge. Too much liquid water in the combustor will result
in flame out. The amount of water resulting in either surge or flame
out must be defined for each compressor model.
