The company showed their LCD projectors, two of those, the models 30 and 33, are
offered with a dual-aspect ratio (4:3 and 16:9) projection screen that folds into a
travel-friendly case, standard on the model 33, offered separately on the 30. They
both have VGA, 854x480, 1200 ANSI lumens, 1.5x optical zoom lens, short-throw
lens to project an 80W-inch image from 6.6 feet away or up to 300W inches from
24.8 feet, offset lens shift.

integrated JVC DVD/CD player, built-in stereo speakers, illuminated remote control.
Moviemate 33 $1,200, TTM Oct 06, 3-LCD, for mass retail distribution,

Additionally two other projectors complete the introduction:
Cinema 400 3LCD model, 720p, $1,600, TTM Sep 06, 5,000:1 CR, 1,500 ANSI
lumens, Cinema Filter and Dynamic Eye Iris, seven color modes, vertical and
horizontal optical lens shift, 1xHDMI.
PowerLite Pro Cinema 800 HQV $7,000, for custom installer distribution. It features
Silicon Optix's HQV video processing technology using pixel-based (rather than
frame-based) motion adaptation and detail enhancement.
The TX3 was said to be “specifically tailored with true 10-bit video processing,
distribution through the custom installation channel, advanced three-chip 3LCD 720p
light engine, Cinema Filter and Dynamic Eye Iris technology, 5,000:1 CR, 1,600 ANSI
lumens, vert/horiz optical lens can be moved up to 100% horizontally and 50%
vertically.

Absolute Black technology, ISF-certification, AccuCinema Lens designed for high

Epson announced the development of a Next-Generation HTPS Panel for LCD
Projection TVs, a new high-temperature polysilicon (HTPS) 0.7 inch liquid crystal
panel to increase the performance of 3LCD front projectors and large-screen 1080p
LCD projection TVs, and obtain a greater than 20 percent aperture ratio
improvement over conventional TN (*) panels to improve luminance with current
lamps or use lower-watt lamps for same levels of luminance. (*) Twisted Nematic, a
type of LCD that uses a nematic liquid crystal, where light rotates 90 degrees as it
passes through the LC layer.
