Pioneer
As per CES 2006, Pioneer’s Blu-ray BDP-HD1 player was announced to be due in
Apr/May 2006 with MSRP of
$1,800 under the Elite brand,
Pioneer commented there
might be another non-Elite
player later. The $1,800 price
was said to be consistent to
other Elite products of which
higher quality is expected
(right).
