ViewSonic introduced new LCD TVs, the NextVision® 61 Series with 46-inch N4661w
and 42-inch N4261w, 1080p resolution, advanced video and audio processing
technology, and smaller LCD TVs (for kitchens for example) such as the 20-inch
N2652w.
Westinghouse
PC monitors, the 37” and 42” LCD are tuneless monitors and comply with the FCC
ATSC tuner mandate because they omit NTSC tuning, they are true monitor
products. All include DVI, and component video.

CES 2006
The company demonstrated the world’s largest ultra high resolution LCD with 8
million pixels. I could not witness the demonstration.

The company announced the latest addition to its HD 1080p line:
37” LVM-37w3 $1,900, bright flat panel, 8ms response time, high contrast
ratio, six HD inputs, 43 pounds, 176 degree viewing angles (vert/horiz), 16.7 million
True Color display, 550 cd/m2, 1000:1 CR.
This model was introduced in addition to the current 42” model LVM-42w2 mentioned
earlier.

Westinghouse introduced a new 42” model:
Considered a step-down alternative model, priced to compete against HD plasma
displays for the holiday selling season, 3D comb filter 1600:1 CR, 8ms response
time, HDMI, component, VGA, 768p, monitor only, TTM 4Q06-1Q07.

Anticipated in Nov 06 for CES 2007:
Westinghouse said to introduce an expanded 2007 product line from 19W- to 52Winches,
with ATSC tuners in most models, and new 26” and 52” screen sizes, the 26
to replace the successful 27” size, adding a DVD within the set.
All 1080p sets will be integrated with NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuners, Monitor-only (LVM
line) for business-to-business purposes will continue.
