Sony introduced the BRAVIA X line in the UK, 1080p:
46” KDL-46X2000U, accepts 1080p, improved red and green colors by using
improved light-emitting phosphors. 1300:1 CR, wider viewing angle than the
traditional 170 degrees, integrated power speakers, Dolby Pro Logic II Virtual
Surround digital signal processing, DTV broadcast tuner, three Scart, two component
inputs.

Sony introduced two extra 1080p models on the XBR2 and XBR3 lines on the 52”
size, the 52XBR2 is similar to the already introduced 46” but it does not feature
interchangeable bezels, it will have a fixed silver bezel. The 52XBR3 is delivered
with a high-gloss piano black bezel.
Both models have 3xHDMI, floating glass styling designs, wide-color gamut Cold
Cathode Fluorescent backlighting, and Sony’s BRAVIA Engine Pro video processing,
DRC Multi-Function version 2.5 circuitry to enhance both standard and high definition
signal sources, built-in ATSC tuner, PC input; 2xcomponent. Sony’s Advanced
Contrast Enhancer (ACE), with real-time image processing, and optimization of
backlight levels, 1300:1 CR (7000:1 dynamic CR) for deeper blacks and better
shadow detail.
Sony said that specs are very similar to the models introduced this summer;
availability was planned for Nov 06 at prices said to be announced:

Additionally, Sony added two new BRAVIA panels with 1366x768p resolution, suited
with ACE technology for optimized dynamic contrast ratio of up to 5,000:1 (onscreen
contrast ratio is 1,300:1), narrow frame black bezel with invisible bottom
speakers with SRS TruSurroundXT, and BBE Digital Enhancement technology, built-in
ATSC tuner, HDMI and PC inputs, 2xcomponent.

Sony unveiled a 70” BRAVIA 1080p LCD with x.v.Color, the world’s largest x.v.Color
set.
70” KDL-70XBR3 $33,000, TTM Feb07, available for pre-order at select Sony
Style stores and select authorized retail outlets including Video Audio Center, Home
Theater Store, ABT Electronics, Little Guys, Myer-Emco, Bjorn’s, and Listen Up.
The new set features Motionflow 120 Hz technology with motion compensation, 10-
bit panel (which increases gradation level by 64 times from 8-bit panels),
Triluminos LED backlight, xvYCC technology, which Sony has branded x.v.Color.
