about Samsung’s 80” model from
last year report:
In October 05, Samsung announced that the 80” HP-R8082 panel is in production
and will be released for sale in Feb 06, for $150,000 (not $39,000 as originally
disclosed at CES 2005).
I discussed the price discrepancy issue
with Samsung representatives at CES,
I was told that four units were already
delivered, but no official clarification
was given for the price discrepancy.
For that reason, I requested Samsung
