introduce new Home Cinema “Scope” anamorphic
lens options to display projected source material in
a variety of aspect ratios up to 2.35:1, designed
for any SIM2 projector, and with a motorized
version for the 1080p HT-3000 projector, and 3-
chip 720p C3X projector family, enabling HT
installations to maintain the height of the image frame when shifting between
sources with 16:9, 4:3 and 2.35.1 aspect ratios. $9000 for the lens and $12000 for
the lens/motorized sled version.
SIM2's proprietary Alpha Path light engine, new seven-segment (RGBRGB + Neutral
Density Filter) color wheel, 200-watt high output lamp rated at 4,000 hour lifespan,
5,000:1 CR (full on/ full off), live color management and gamma control functions,
new Dynamic Noise Reduction, Spatial Noise Reduction processing, two HDMI/HDCP
inputs, VGA, component, RS-232, IR input jacks, two 12V trigger outputs to control
motorized screens and other support equipment.
Includes a high quality lens with a throw ratio of 1.5-2.0:1, but is also available with
an optional long-throw 2.0-3.0:1 ratio lens, TTM Oct 06, $17,000.
