Analysis.—The monotonous introduction is particularly long in this melody.<br />
The tone material is scanty <strong>and</strong> consists only <strong>of</strong> the tones E-flat, B-flat, <strong>and</strong> C.<br />
Their sequence is such as to suggest E-flat as the keynote but the song is classified<br />
as irregular in tonality.<br />
