Shaun Aldis is Director <strong>of</strong> Property Services at Wolverhampton Homes. During his time<br />
there, he has seen the organisation go from strength to strength, winning ‘<strong>Housing</strong><br />
Pocurement Team <strong>of</strong> the Year’ award in 2010, amongst many others, for customer<br />
service. Wolverhampton Homes was also awarded 3* Excellent Service by the Audit<br />
Commission in December 2010.<br />
Christine Amyes is Executive Director – People, at New Charter <strong>Housing</strong> Trust Group.<br />
Her background is in organisational, team and personal development. She has been<br />
with New Charter since 2001 where her responsibilities include customer experience,<br />
communications, organisational development, human resources and health and safety.<br />
She is much involved in education as a Director and Governor <strong>of</strong> the Great Academies<br />
Education Trust and as Chair <strong>of</strong> Governors at Copley Academy.<br />
Diane Bellinger has been Chief Executive <strong>of</strong> Preston-based Community Gateway<br />
Association since 2005. Community Gateway Association is the first housing association<br />
in the UK based on the Community Gateway Model where only tenants can be<br />
members <strong>of</strong> the Association, making it a mutual organisation. Previously she was Chief<br />
Executive <strong>of</strong> Eastlands Homes in East Manchester.<br />
Dave Bramley originally qualified as a teacher, but has worked in housing since 1980.<br />
In 1999 his career came full circle when he was appointed Learning and Development<br />
Consultant at the newly formed Rent Service. After this he took up a position as<br />
Education Officer at CIH. Always with an eye on future developments in learning, Dave<br />
holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Technology Enhanced Learning, Innovation and<br />
Change. His interests have progressed from communities <strong>of</strong> practice, to social learning<br />
and personal learning networks and this continues to inspire his thinking.<br />
Veronica Coatham has worked in the housing industry for over 37 years and has led<br />
the development <strong>of</strong> innovations in pr<strong>of</strong>essional housing education as an education<br />
<strong>of</strong>ficer with CIH, a practitioner and, for the past 25 years, as Head <strong>of</strong> <strong>Housing</strong> and<br />
Community Studies at Birmingham City University. She has researched and published in<br />
the areas <strong>of</strong> developing skills for working in the housing and housing related sectors.<br />
Helen Giles MBE, <strong>Chartered</strong> FCIPD, is HR Director <strong>of</strong> Broadway Homelessness and<br />
Support and Managing Director <strong>of</strong> Broadway’s Real People HR consultancy. Broadway<br />
has won numerous awards for excellence in people management. Helen is a former<br />
