PROTECTING SLIDING ALUMINUM DOORS<br />

Protecting sliding aluminum doors against unauthorized entry.<br />

There are several methods for protecting sliding aluminum doors:<br />

• Parallel recess mount<br />

• Perpendicular recess mount<br />

• Parallel recess mount with adhesive surface mount switch<br />

• Screw-down surface mount — do not drill into glass!<br />

• Adhesive surface mount<br />

The installation technique you select will depend on the gap distance available<br />

and ease of installation.<br />

Remove door as shown in Figure 1. Figure 2 illustrates mounting positions.<br />
