Key developments during <strong>2010</strong><br />

During <strong>2010</strong> the Human Resources Department continued<br />

with general improvements in its services to managers and<br />

staff of the <strong>Hospital</strong>. Some of the main features are identifi ed<br />

below as identifi ed below:<br />

• Following the introduction of the Human Resources<br />

Business Partners, work was undertaken to ensure the<br />

ongoing provision of a more accessible and personalised<br />

HR service to Departments and Directorates<br />

• Further access to e learning programmes continued to<br />

be developed including the Fire Training module. Also the<br />

e learning library facilities were extended<br />

• Continuing the work of the National SKILL Critical Mass<br />

Project for support staff in the hospital<br />

• Developing the curriculum for learning activities provided by<br />

the Clinical Skills Centre<br />

• Continuing the work toward EWTD compliance within the<br />

NHCD staff<br />

• Enhancing the services of the Occupational Health<br />

Department to <strong>Hospital</strong> <strong>St</strong>aff<br />
