Step 3: Finish the lens housing You will use a 3D Offset operation to create finish passes on the lens housing. 3D Offset creates concentric offset cutting passes based on the shape of the outer contour of the part. The toolpath maintains a constant scallop height, for a consistent finish. This technique can be used to finish other areas of the camera as well. For this project, you will use a 0.250 diameter ball mill with a 0.0200 inch step increment to cut the lens housing.
