Page 108, note IGD. <strong>The</strong>re was a family of statesmen at Akehead of the name of Rook. Page 114, note 188. Mr. Francis Anderson, of Alnwick, married, Sept. 6, 1728, at Corbridge, Mrs. Sarah Todd, a kinswoman, apparently, of Thomas Todd, vicar of Corbridge. Page 120. Sir John Ballantyne, in 1679, purchased the grain tithes of Crookdake from Mr. Walter Calverley, and in that way acquired seats in the chancel of Bromfield. Of. Arrli. Ad. 1 ser. vol. iv. p. 174.
