If you click on the button, you will see the Driver Information dialog: This dialog displays information about the driver, including boards supported, version number, location and name of the driver file, size of the driver, and date the driver was released. The CompuScope driver, gage_drv.dll is stored in your Windows/System directory, usually C:\Windows\System (for Windows 95/98) or C:\Windows\System32 (for Windows NT). The AutoVerify checkbox allows you to set whether Gage Config will automatically verify your changed settings. By default, AutoVerify is checked.
