Preface Gage’s CompuScope Drivers allow your application programs to communicate with and control one or more CompuScope cards under DOS, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT or Windows 2000. Multiple CompuScope cards may be in either a Master/Slave configuration or a Multiple/Independent configuration. This Installation Guide provides all the information you need in order to start using your CompuScope card(s) under DOS, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT or Windows 2000, including software installation, uninstall information, and running your first utility to establish that your CompuScope card(s) is functioning properly. Please note that this guide is not intended as a reference for any software other than Gage’s CompuScope Drivers. If you did not receive the correct guide, please contact the factory for a replacement. It is assumed that the reader is familiar with using PCs, DOS, Windows, and ISA or PCI cards. No description is included for these topics. If you are not comfortable with these areas, it is strongly recommended that you refer to the appropriate product guides. Please note also that what you see on the screen during the install process may differ slightly from the screen shots in this manual due to improvements in the drivers since the publication of this guide. However, you can consult README.TXT for any recent changes to the drivers. You can find this file on the Gage Driver Disk on CD. To maintain the accuracy of the information contained herein, we reserve the right to make changes to this manual from time to time.
