INTRODUCTION<br />
An online survey for <strong>St</strong>. John’s Area employers was developed and distributed through an email<br />
notification to members <strong>of</strong> the Board <strong>of</strong> Trade and the Downtown Development Commission. The<br />
survey was available for a span <strong>of</strong> 4 weeks in February and March 2010. The purpose <strong>of</strong> the survey<br />
was to collect information on the characteristics <strong>of</strong> <strong>St</strong>. John’s Area businesses and their relationship<br />
and attitudes towards transit.<br />
Businesses were asked to fill out a survey <strong>of</strong> each <strong>of</strong> their locations in <strong>St</strong>. John’s. A total <strong>of</strong> 39<br />
completed surveys were collected. The survey results are summarized below.<br />
