Teachers are finding it harder
and harder to keep the attention of their pupils as they compete with
more and more distractions such as cell phones, MP3 players and other
gadgets. Yet distractions were not a problem when Yvonne Busche took
her students to the phæno, because they were far more interested in the
exciting experiments at the Wolfsburg Science Center. In fact the ninth
grade students became so engrossed with some of the experiments that
their teacher almost had to drag them away. “They conducted practical
research and got immediate results – what could be better?” commented
the teacher. So top marks for the phæno.
