HOW TO APPLY
When you are happy with your choice of course
it’s time to get started on your application. You
can make an application to College in one of the
following ways:
Online Interactive Form
You can complete an interactive application form
on our website. This is the quickest, fastest and
most secure method of application to the College.
Please visit the ‘How to Apply’ section on the
website to access the form and find further
instructions to help you fill it out.
Leeds Pathways/Bradford 4 Learning
If you are aged 14-19 you can make your
application to College through your local area
prospectus site.
In Leeds this is:

In Bradford/Keighley:
www.bradford4learning.com
If you attend school you will be invited to
complete an application by your Connexions
Adviser or form teacher.
Paper Application Form
You can find an application form online or by
contacting course enquires at any College site, or
you can download a PDF version from our website
and print it off.
*Please only fill out a paper application if you
cannot apply online.*
Completing your Application
Unless you have visited the College previously,
your application will be your first point of contact
with College staff. For this reason it is important
that you set aside some time to complete the
application fully, and to the best of your ability.
Whatever the format of application you choose,
we will be asking you for the same information.
As well as your contact details, we will ask you for
details of which schools and colleges you have
attended previously, and any qualifications or
awards you have gained. If you are still at school
you will also need to list your predicted grades
or your mock GCSE grades if you have sat them.
If you are still at school or college your head of
year should be able to help you with this. We will
also ask about any work you have done, paid or
unpaid, and ask you to name a referee.
Personal Statement
We will also ask you to complete a Personal
Statement. This is your chance to explain to us
why you are a suitable candidate for your choice of
course. You should give as much information here
as you can. This information helps the College
staff to decide whether you have chosen the right
course and can really help when you come for
interview as the tutor will be more familiar with
you when you arrive.
