Safe Environment
Our safeguarding policy ensures that all young
people attending college operate in a safe and
secure environment.
Working with Parents and Carers
We will contact parents/carers regularly and
invite them to parents’/progress evenings.
Tutorial Support
Your personal tutor will meet with you regularly
to make sure you are on track with your college
work and is there to help you succeed on your
course and make the most of College life.
Essential Skills Required for Work
All students who haven’t achieved A*- C in
Maths, English and ICT will be able to study
Functional Skills or GCSEs in these areas at a level
appropriate to you to help you progress to HE or
employment.
Fees
We do not charge tuition or exam fees to 16-18
year olds who are on full time courses. If you are
over 19 when you start your full time course and
are on means-tested benefits, you will not be
charged any tuition or exam fees.
Grants and Funds
Our Student Support Team can advise you on
available grants and funds to help fund your
study at College.
Travel
If you are a full-time student under 19 years
of age (up to your 19th birthday), and you live
in West Yorkshire, you can apply for a Metro
Scholar’s Permit which entitles you to half price
travel on buses and trains in West Yorkshire.

Library+
We have excellent study and IT facilities with a
wide variety of print and electronic resources to
support you while you are studying at College
including books, journals, newspapers, resource
boxes, CD ROMs, DVDs and access to electronic
resources.
International Students
Our International Office can help you with
any questions regarding entry requirements,
applying to the College, finding accommodation
or applying for a student visa.
