Center from 17 to 20 Nov 1987 to confer with ICRISAT scientists on
insect pest management strategies relating to stem borers of sorghum,
a cereal grown over 50 million ha of the world. Included are
inaugural addresses, followed by papers presented at the Workshop
on current regional research in Africa, Asia, Central and South
America: host-plant resistance, bionomics, and control of the pest
other than by host-plant resistance, and breeding for resistance, and
