The International Board for Plant Genetic Resources is dedicated to
improving the standard of living of the peoples of the world. It
accomplishes this in two ways: through the support and promotion
of a global network forthecollection and conservation of cropgenetic
resources; and by sponsoring and carrying out relevant research.
IBPGR Publications 1989/90
The information on titles/series numbers supersedes that published
in earlier catalogues. IBPGR publications are available free of charge
from the Publications Office at IBPGR Headquartersto the libraries of
genebanks, university departments, research institutions, etc. On
requesttothe IBPGR Publications Office, limited numberoftitles may
also be made available to individuals who can show that they have a
need for a personal copy of a publication.
FAO/IBPGR Plant Genetic Resources Newsletter
Quarterly. 48 pages. A4. Paper.
This Newsletter publishes several types of paper. Articles reporting
significant new developments within the field of plant genetic resources
are subject to strict refereeing procedures. Collecting articles
report recent collecting missions. News items give information
on recent developments.
IBPGR Regional Newsletters
These informal Newsletters report on recent developments of regional
interest. There are four of them, appearing 2-4 times per year:
IBPGR Newsletter for Sub-Saharan Africa (2 versions; English and
French)
IBPGR Newsletter for Europe, Southwest Africa and North Africa
IBPGR Newsletter for Asia and the Pacific (2 versions; English and
Chinese)

A colorful magazine of plant genetic resources aimed at the donor
