Monitoring progress on various activities and gathering information on the effectiveness <strong>of</strong> various strategies is the critical<br />
component to achieving the 25 percent greenhouse gas emissions reduction target.<br />

2. Monitor progress by conducting an emissions inventory at two year intervals.<br />

2. Develop an online public engagement platform, to sustain community-wide conversation regarding climate action in <strong>Urbana</strong>.<br />
3. Design and implement an energy efficiency challenge to motivate residents to save energy.<br />
4. Coordinate emissions inventories with regional land-use and transportation planning processes.<br />
5. Advocate required reporting <strong>of</strong> solid waste and energy consumption data in Illinois.<br />
