Finally, a Mustang that anyone can fly - Now Includes 2.4 GHz Radio
Includes Brushless OUTRUNNER Motor
and Lithium Battery
Scale landing gear
plugs into wing for
quick, easy transport
AT7602 Art-Tech "Mustang P-51D" RTF w/2.4 GHz Radio .................................. $219.99
37-3/4" wingspan, 30-3/4" long, 245 sq. in. wing area, 20 oz. flying weight. Fuselage and wing are molded high-density bead
foam. Stabilizer and rudder are heat-molded foam with a tough, smooth surface, all pre-hinged and painted. The airplane
comes completely pre-painted and decorated, the servos and electronics are pre-installed, and the brushless OUTRUNNER
motor and speed control are installed and ready for use. The scale 4-bladed propeller (there are 2 included) and special
4-blade spinner really add to the authentic appearance, as does the scale landing gear and wheels that come assembled
and ready to be screwed in place. The wing has individual aileron servos pre-installed and ready to plug into the radio
receiver. The assembly is very quick and easy; in the time it takes to charge the included 3-cell 1300mAh Lithium battery with
the included 12 Volt balance charger, (12 Volt battery or power supply required) the airplane can be ready for flight. The
included 2.4 GHz 6-channel radio requires 8-AA batteries (sold separately). Almost all novice pilots want to fly a Mustang and
generally this is the worst possible choice - until now. The gentle flying character and predictability of this airplane is suitable
for even fairly low time pilots. The big 4-bladed prop provides lots of thrust with only moderate speed, the wide stance of the
landing gear gives you good ground handling, and the high lift wing provides great handling even at low speed. Flight times
are about 10-15 minutes.
NEW! Ready-to-Fly with 6-channel 2.4 GHz Radio, Scale 4-Blade Prop and Retracts
ESM047A P-47 Thunderbolt RTF ........................................ $249.99
ESM047B P-47 Thunderbolt ARF (Receiver Ready) ......... $189.99
The P-47 was the heaviest US single-engine fighter of WWII and was
built in greater quantities than any other. More than half a million
combat sorties were flown in P-47’s between the years of 1943 and the
end of the war in 1945. One of the first true multi-role fighters, the Jug
was a fighter, bomber, dive-bomber and ground attack aircraft. The
P-47 was also the first piston-powered fighter to exceed 500 mph.
41" wingspan, 35" long, 258 sq. in. wing area, 27 oz. flying weight.
Nearly everything is included in the box. The only additional parts
required are the AA batteries for the included 2.4 GHz 6-channel radio
system and a small amount of 5-minute epoxy for gluing the tail
feathers in place. All pre-painted molded foam construction with the
decals pre-installed and coated with a clear polyurethane spray for
durability. The powerful outrunner brushless motor (1050kv) has plenty
of power to swing the scale 11" 4-bladed propeller. The 25A speed
control is pre-installed and connected using Genuine Deans
Ultraconnectors, as is the supplied 3-cell 1650 mAh Lipo flight battery.
Sturdy mechanical retracts are pre-installed in the wings and
pre-connected to the retract servo. The gear legs have scale gear
doors attached; tail wheel is steerable with rudder input. Includes a
complete set of illustrated instructions with all control throws and CG
information clearly presented. Tips on Lipo battery care and flying are
included as well. After you charge the flight battery with the included
Lipo 2-3 Cell charger, you are ready to fly. The scale outline of the
P-47 is accurately represented. Combined with the scale 4-bladed prop
and the retracts, you have a great flying package that looks terrific on
the ground, taxiing out to the runway, or flying by with the gear up. The
P-47 has solid flying manners with a very slow stall speed and
predictable control response. The wide stance of the landing gear
makes ground handling very solid and the steerable tail wheel keeps
everything going in the proper direction. The big 4-bladed scale prop
provides a lot of thrust; the smooth application of power is required for
a scale take-off and a little power needs to carry into the landing for a
smooth result. A great choice for the pilot with some aileron experience.
