Z-Bends are the best way to connect a servo
output to a pushrod. Z-Bends are the best way
to connect the other end of a pushrod to the control
surface’s control horn. You solder these ready-made Kavan Z-Bend
Couplers to a music wire. If you judged the length wrong, melt the solder
and move the Z-Bend Coupler. The ends are 1.5mm diameter which
fits the holes in servo arms and control horns exactly.

Micro control horns

The long offset gives a reach of 1/4” from the
front edge of horn. The short offset gives a
reach of 3/32” from the edge of horn. Very
lightweight plastic with barbed prongs to better hold the glue. The
holes for the pushrods are 1/32” and can be enlarged if necessary.

A machined fitting that is about 1/2” long, in which are three holes for pushrods
and holes for Allen set screws. It can be used for such linkages as a
single pushrod from a servo connected to split elevators, or to flaps, or from
dual servos to a boat rudder.
The best way we’ve seen to bring a
pushrod out of a fuselage!
Puts an end to slop and backlash caused by running
a bent wire pushrod linkage through a fuselage. Use one for
rudder pushrod, one for elevator. Simple to install: it also
prevents those big ugly wallowed-out exit slots that your receiver
could fall through.
