All the above survey equipment, office fittings and furniture shall be supplied for the sole use of the Project Managers Staff for the duration of the Contract but shall remain the property of the Contractor who shall maintain it and replace it if damaged. The Contractor shall maintain the survey instruments in adjustment. The total survey station and the automatic level will be supplied with calibration certificates to show that they have been recalibrated immediately prior to use on this contract. The Contractor shall comply with all statutory regulations with regard to: 1 Bunding of oil storage. 2 Bunded area for fuelling of plant. 3 Run-off from compound 4 Chemical toilets 5 Collecting and disposal of waste from site (i.e. netted skips) The Contractor shall comply with the Environmental Management Plan and develop this plan as required. 114
APPENDIX 1/3: COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR THE PROJECT MANAGER The Contractor shall supply two new mobile phones for the sole use of the Project Managers Representatives. The telephones shall be supplied with spare batteries, battery re-charging units and hands free kits. The telephones shall be provided for the duration of the contract. All rental and call charges to be paid for by the Contractor. The terms of the rental agreement for the telephones shall be acceptable to the Project Manager. The Contractor shall demonstrate the acceptability of the proposed phones and that coverage can be achieved across the full extent of the Site before they will be considered acceptable to the Project Manager. 115
