Principle of zero discharge will be adopted and no impermissible
discharge will be allowed out side factory. All water from DM plant will be
used. Blow down water from boiler, auxiliary cooling tower basin, system
leakage water through equipment overflow drain will be managed inside
the cement plant and factory.
4.5 SOLID WASTE
There will be no solid waste generation in the proposed plant. Rejected
materials like packaging material, steel scrap, used tires etc. will be
disposed off. Fly ash generation from CPP shall be handled properly. All
the fly ash will be utilized in cement manufacture.

Various project activities which may have direct impact on above
environmental parameters are as follows-
A) Land acquisition & site preparation
B) Creation of infrastructure
C) Mining activities
D) Blasting
E) Transportation of mineral and waste rock
F) Stocking of material
G) Waste rock disposal
H) Mine waste disposal
I) Surface transportation and dispatch of mineral
Land degradation, waste rock generation and management
The existing land will be disturbed by the mining operations by three
typesa)
Land degradation caused due to excavation of pits.
b) Land degradation caused due to dumping of waste generated
during mining.
c) Land degradation due to erection of infrastructure facility such
as mines road, site office, rest shelter etc.
