Today, TGMoperates more than 30 grain elevators with40 million bushels of licensed storage space.But TGM is still expanding and plans toadd significant grain storage capacity andimprovements that will speed up operations forcustomer convenience and location efficiency.To help accommodate that growth, TGMworked with CoBank in 2011 to increase its lineof credit and secure a $50 million term loan.“As TGM grows, they need to be able to moreefficiently move and store grain,” says AmyGales, executive vice president and managerof CoBank’s Regional Agribusiness BankingGroup. “This will allow them to expand theircapacity in a way that makes good fiscal sensefor all of the parties involved.”Any improvements TGM undertakes will usethe newest technological innovations to reducewaiting time for customers.
