If so consult your dealer or qualifiedelectrician.The wiring allocations were changed in 1998and it is important that you check the car tocaravan connections are compatible prior tocoupling up to the car.WARNING: Always disconnect theelectrical connector between the towingvehicle and the caravan beforeconnecting a low voltage supply to thecaravan (mains) and before charging thebattery (EN 1648-1).PASSENGERSPassengers are forbidden to ride in a caravanwith the exception of authorised test personnel.BRAKES/BREAKAWAY CABLEA breakaway cable is required for caravansand the device must be such that the caravanstops automatically if the coupling breaks(Regulation 15 of the Road Vehicles[Construction and Use] Regulations 1986).Always ensure that the breakaway cable isconnected to the towing vehicle, not to thetowball.
