Chief Engineer: The Chief Engineer is to be at the MoDOT Central Office ICC anddirect MoDOT activities in general. Backup to the Chief Engineer is the Director ofProject Development.Director of Operations: The Director of Operations shall go to the SEOC at the SEMAand National Guard Headquarters on Militia Drive east of Jefferson City. Duties includebeing the liaison between MoDOT and SEMA, the Adjutant General’s Office, other stateagencies, others that are in the SEOC and others that are working through SEMA.Backups to the Director of Operations are the State Project Operations Engineer andthe State Traffic Engineer.State <strong>Maintenance</strong> Engineer: The State <strong>Maintenance</strong> Engineer will work in the<strong>Maintenance</strong> office at 2211 St. Mary’s Boulevard, directing maintenance in CentralOffice and in the districts, if telephones and/or radios work. When the SEOC isactivated, the State <strong>Maintenance</strong> Engineer may go to that location and work there inorder to communicate with others. Backups to the State <strong>Maintenance</strong> Engineer arethe State Bridge <strong>Maintenance</strong> Engineer, the Supervising Bridge Inspection Engineer anda Technical Support Engineer.MoDOT District Engineers: The District Engineers are to direct the incident responseactivities of their respective districts and are to be located within their District IncidentCommand Facilities to be ready to respond when called upon to provide statewideassistance as needed. Backups to the District Engineers are the Assistant DistrictEngineers.State Bridge <strong>Maintenance</strong> Engineer: The State Bridge <strong>Maintenance</strong> Engineer willwork in the Bridge <strong>Maintenance</strong> office in the Central Office on St. Mary’s Boulevard, orat the SEOC if directed to go there. The State Bridge <strong>Maintenance</strong> Engineer will directbridge inspectors if they are needed to inspect bridges on priority routes, over theMississippi and Missouri Rivers and other bridges, and will also direct bridge repaircrews if they are needed to repair damaged bridges. Backup to the State Bridge<strong>Maintenance</strong> Engineer is the Supervising Bridge Inspection Engineer.Director of General Services: The Director of General Services is to report to theCentral Office at 2211 St. Mary’s Boulevard and direct the General Services Division’semergency operations. These operations will include supplying pilots for the Multi-Modal Division’s airplane as they fly into affected areas of the state, providing vehiclesfrom the MoDOT HQ Garage Annex, providing supplies from the HQ DistributionCenter, checking MoDOT facilities, and other duties as directed. Backups to theDirector of General Services are the Support Services Manager and the Fleet Manager.Director of Public Information and Outreach: If the Director of Public Informationand Outreach doesn’t go with the MoDOT Director to the Governor’s Office or to theSEOC, the Director of Public Information and Outreach will work in the MoDOTCentral Office ICC, directing public information and outreach and the customer servicerepresentatives, supplying photographers for the Multi-Modal Division’s airplanes asthey fly into affected areas of the state, having photo lab develop photographs andreproduce videos. Backup to the Director of Public Information and Outreach is theAssistant Public Information and Outreach Director. The public information andoutreach representative in Operations will work at the SEOC, and will coordinate withthe MoDOT Director of Operations and the SEMA communications and public47 Incident <strong>Response</strong> Plan
