Japanese language IV (Part 2) (6 credits).Assessment for Special HonoursExit assessment based on course grades: an average grade <strong>of</strong> B or above in Japanese LanguageProgramme courses is required for the award <strong>of</strong> a Special Honours.Course/credit requirements<strong>The</strong> SH consists <strong>of</strong> 60 credits taken in Second, Third, and Fourth <strong>year</strong>s as follows.(i) Requirements <strong>of</strong> Compulsory Courses (Japanese language core courses) (24 credits):This includes 6 credits from JAPN3199. Japanese language IV (Part 2) (6 credits)(ii) Requirements <strong>of</strong> Elective Courses (36 credits):oJapanese language elective courses18 credits including at least 6 credits from the following courses.JAPN3016. Advanced business Japanese (6 credits)JAPN3025. Advanced media Japanese (6 credits)Non-SH students are normally not eligible to take the language elective courses listed above.Exceptions can be made however, at the teacher’s discretion, should non-SH students wish to takethese courses.oJapanese-medium interdisciplinary content courses18 credits including at least 12 credits from the following courses.JAPN3008.
