Mindset Masters actions are going to go as planned, so they make adjustments accordingly. They are willing to ask for feedback in order to accelerate the achievement of their goals. Some questions that can be used to ask for feedback are: i. How can this be done better? ii. On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate our product/service? This project? My performance? This meeting? etc. iii. What would it take to make it a 10? B. High performers have high intentions and low attachments. They will do the best they can to achieve a result, but they are not attached to when it will happen. Sometimes they won’t get what they want by their intended date, but they are willing to move on and keep taking the necessary actions until they eventually achieve their desired result. Oftentimes when things do not show up when they expect it to, they recognize that something better may be on the way. A useful question to ask when things are not going as planned is, “What’s the opportunity that this is?” C. They are willing to face the truth. When things are not going well, they are prepared to examine their behaviours and beliefs. Questions that can be asked at this stage are: i. What’s working? ii. What’s not working? 133
