Mindset Masters Chapter 16 Blind Vision: What If It All Goes Right? By Ronda Del Boccio, the Story Lady When I was at a live event for entrepreneurs, a man came up to me and sheepishly asked, “May I ask you about your vision?” I said, “Of course!” Then I proceeded to tell him of my vision of a cooperative world in which every human being lives in harmony with each other and with nature. He hesitated and then said, “Oh…I meant your eyesight.” “Oh that.” Vision is always Capital V Vision to me! As a visionary blind entrepreneur, I often say that I provide vision correction to the supposedly sighted. This comes from the fact that I notice a lot more than most people who have all their physical senses working at full blast. For example, as a blind writer, I’m keenly aware of the power of WORDS. I want to demonstrate to you that you have a super power with words. Yes! I am about to prove to you beyond a shadow of a doubt that you are the world’s most amazing storyteller. Maybe your friends roll their eyes whenever you start telling a story. Maybe you love to spin a good yarn and you’re all set to agree with me! I smile upon either response without judgment. 159
