Mindset Masters A funny thing happens when you occupy your time doing things you want to do -­‐-­‐ things you don’t want to do just don’t happen. You see, the strategy of filling a calendar with intentions of events is to create a long term lifestyle map of things to do. Your year last year was probably defined by the things you did. So, if you want to have a better year this year, begin mapping out a year of exactly what you would like to do. In my calendar I have stuff every week taking place all over the world. I have schedule conflicts among these intention dates, and the other “stuff” on my regular calendar. Absolute and sheer joy occurs when I move an item from the intention calendar to the commitment calendar. Do I miss most intention items? Absolutely. But it serves to keep me focused on doing more of them and less of the things that just don’t matter.
