Mindset Masters pen or marker down. Do not continue. I know, you may be someone with no lack of ideas, but it’s important to stop somewhere! If you do have trouble coming up with ideas, think about the questions you answer every day. If people are asking you questions, that’s because they think you know the answer—and you probably do. Those questions and answers are key indications of topics you could write about or products you could create. Step 2: Pick Five Choose no more than five of the project ideas from Step 1: Brain Dump. These can be ideas that stick out to you the most, ones you have a gut feeling about, or projects that are already close to completion. Step 3: Rate Your Projects with the “Project Matrix” I use this secret ninja system for all my projects—including books, digital products, and new coaching programs—to determine which one to work on next. I call it the PREK system: Passion, Research, Experience, Knowledge. This is my dirty little secret as to how I have become a product creation machine and how I published three books and created a massive digital training product in less than twelve months. In this step, rate each of your five projects from Step 2: Pick Five according to which one you’re the most passionate about, which one you’ve done the most research on, which one you have the most practical experience doing, and which one you just know the most about. Your numbers may be close or they may be drastically different, as research, experience, and knowledge can be similar. For example, you may have practical life experience dealing with a divorce, yet know more about diabetes as a nurse practitioner. List your projects in the Project Matrix chart below under the word 75
