Mindset Masters That’s the key to changing thoughts. Just because a particular thought is playing in your head doesn’t mean you have to let it run rampant like an unruly toddler and shape your life. Changing your story Remember, thoughts (inner and spoken) move you toward either life or death energetically. There is simply no room inside a brilliant human mind like yours for self-­‐doubt, worry, fear, or any other form of negativity! Since you’re going to tell yourself stories anyway, why not make those stories miraculous, amazing, and life changing? What made the difference for me with Thunder is that the stakes were high. The outcome mattered in a big way, and that provided excellent fuel. What I learned from training my own guide dogs is that nothing helps me make powerful, lasting change like knowing there’s something cherished to be won or lost. I refused to entertain any thoughts of “what if it all goes wrong,” even for a moment. No matter what goal you are making real, creating the vision of your changed life is more than a mental picture. It’s not staring at the image of the body, the cruise ship, the mate or whatever you want. It’s all about feeling so certain you will OWN the desired outcome that there is absolutely no room for doubt or fear. 166
