The sizeof the VG is set by the number of physical extents, which is 32 MB by default. It isnot recommended you modify the physical extent size. As shown in Figure 1.14, aunique name is given to the VG. Modify the name if you want to use a differentnaming convention. Select the physical volumes to include in the VG. The total sizefor the VG might not be equal to the summation of the PV sizes because a smallamount of disk space is used as overhead.
