Licence Number: 2BE-HAK07093. The Licensee may incinerate all food waste, paper waste and wood products in anincinerator capable of meeting the emission limits established under the Canada-wideStandards for Dioxins and Furans the Canada-wide Standards for Mercury Emissions. Insuch case, the Licensee shall insure that the waste is burned in a device that promotesefficient combustion and reduction of emissions, and shall as much as possible reduce theamount of waste to be incinerated. The use of appropriate waste incineration technologyshall be combined with a comprehensive waste management strategy, especially wastesegregation, that is designed to reduce and control the volumes of wastes produced,transported, and disposed of.4. The Licensee shall backhaul and dispose of all hazardous wastes, waste oil and noncombustiblewaste generated through the course of the operation in an approved wastedisposal site.5. Unless otherwise approved by the Board, the Licensee shall contain all greywater in asump located at a distance of at least thirty (30) metres above the ordinary high watermark of any water body, at a site where direct flow into a water body is not possible andno additional impacts are created.6. Unless otherwise approved by the Board, the Licensee shall contain all toilet wastes inlatrine pits or use incineration, chemical, portable or composting toilets for any campwith a design population under 300 person days per year and less than 1,000 person daysfor the life of the camp. Latrine pits shall be located at a distance of at least thirty (30)metres above the ordinary high water mark of any water body, treated with lime andcovered with native material to achieve the pre-existing natural contours of the land priorto abandonment.7. Unless otherwise approved by the Board the Licensee shall dispose of all toilet wastesthrough incineration, chemical or composting toilets for any camp with a designpopulation over 300 and less than 2,000 person days per year, and less than 5,000 persondays per year for the life of the camp. Any remaining residue generated through thecourse of the operation shall be backhauled and disposed of in an approved wastedisposal site.8. The proponent shall ensure that any hazardous materials, including waste oil, receiveproper treatment and disposal at an approved treatment facility.9. This Licence does not allow for the construction and/or operation of a landfarm facility.PART E:CONDITIONS FOR CAMPS, ACCESS INFRASTRUCTURES ANDOPERATIONS1. The Licensee shall not erect camps or store material on the surface of frozen streams orlakes including immediate banks except what is for immediate use. Camps shall belocated such as to minimize impacts on surface drainage.9
