5- TROUBLESHOOTING5.3 VISUAL INSPECTIONVisually inspect the <strong>Vectra</strong> <strong>Genisys</strong>, Intelect LegendXT and Intelect Vet Therapy Systems. A visualinspection can, to an experienced technician,indicate possible abuse of the unit and internalproblems.5.4 LEAKAGE TESTSConduct all necessary leakage tests as requiredper “Chapter 7 Electrical Equipment” of the1999, or later, edition of the NFPA (National FireProtection Association) “Health Care Facility”standards. See Figure 5.1.5.5 UNIT STARTUP AND FAN TESTINGA. Test1. Place System face up on work surface.2. Connect power cord to unit and plug into anapproved power receptacle.3. Turn system on. Press the ElectrotherapyButton. Press the Interferential Button.4. Place hand at the back of system, at MainsPower Switch, to verify fan is blowing out.See Figure 5.2.B. Test Results1.
