Intermediate Apprenticeship (Level 2)Food & Beverage ServiceThis Apprenticeship will help you to developskills in a number of areas including Safe &Hygienic Working Practices, Food Service &Beverage Service Techniques and CustomerService Skills. The course is aimed at studentsworking in the industry and will help you learn,develop and practice the skills required in arange of Hospitality environments. Throughthe course, you will also develop creativethinking, numerical and communication skills,as well as an understanding of employer rightsand responsibilities.Entry RequirementsYou must have GCSE English and Maths at grade Dand will need to pass an interview. You also need to beemployed in the Food & Beverage Service sector or aboutto start an appropriate role.Career Prospects/ProgressionSuccessful completion of this course could allow you to takea Level 3 qualification, such as the Advanced Apprenticeshipin Hospitality Supervision & Leadership, which wouldprepare you for employment in a supervisory role.Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3)Hospitality Supervision &LeadershipThis course complements any of theIntermediate Hospitality Apprenticeships.It is designed for students interested inworking in a supervisory role. You willdevelop skills and knowledge in areasincluding the Hospitality industry, thecompetitive environment, team leadership,communicating effectively with customersand managerial administration. At AdvancedLevel, topics of study are agreed with theProgramme Leader. This course is designedfor students currently in the workingenvironment and will give you the opportunityto learn, develop and practice the skills youneed to make an effective contribution to thebusiness at an Advanced Level.Entry RequirementsYou need a Level 2 Vocational Hospitality qualificationand Level 1 Functional Skills or equivalent in English andMaths.
