All students and staff must wear photo ID badgesat all times while on campus to ensure everyone’s safety.<strong>Yeovil</strong> <strong>College</strong> takes security very seriously and hasestablished a close relationship with the local CommunityPolice Officer, who holds frequent beat surgeries forstudents on site. Your ID card can also be used to payfor items in the <strong>College</strong>’s food outlets and online to covertrip and equipment charges.What is the social life like?Although we emphasise the importance of working hardat college, it is not always about studying! By taking anactive part in enrichment activities and Student Unionevents held throughout the year, you can be sure that youwill have a well-balanced and rewarding experience ofcollege life. Find out more on pages 112-113.Can I bring a car to college?You are welcome to drive to college, although there are alimited number of parking spaces. You will need to get aparking permit from your tutor which must be displayed inyour car. Many of our students use public transport to getto us however.
